Amidst old quarries and nurseries
An 8km loop around the former Cheffois quarries and the Ripaud nurseries.
Step inside the greenhouses filled with cacti, palm trees and ferns, and stroll past the trees pruned in the art of topiary.
1- Park in the car park in front of the Notre-Dame-des-Mineurs chapel in Cheffois.
2- Take the signposted path up into the undergrowth.
3- Take the second path on the left (marked with yellow signs) which passes in front of a ruin.
4- At the T-junction, turn right (yellow signposts)
5- At the junction, turn left and continue to follow the yellow markings.
6- At the junction, head straight ahead (you no longer follow the yellow markings).
7- At the T-junction, turn left and cross the stream.
8- When you reach the road, turn left. .
9- Then take the hairpin bend immediately to the left to follow the path alongside the nursery greenhouses.
10- SFollow the red markings for a 4.9km walk around the Ripaud nurseries.

12- Back at point 9 (the hairpin bend), retrace your steps in the opposite direction.
13- At the T-junction, turn left.
14- As you come out of the forest, turn right.
15- When you reach the road, after 100 metres, take the grassy verge running parallel to the road, which will lead you back to the chapel and its car park.
