Along the Loing
An easy 6.4km walk along narrow paths alongside the Loing stream
with beautiful views over the bocage.
1- Leave the Moulin des Etrebières on the white track. At the crossroads, turn left. When you reach the road, turn left.
2- Turn right at the crossroads.
3- After about 1km, you will come to La Launière. Turn left between the houses.
4- Take the path straight ahead, which runs alongside a garden for a few metres. There are dogs barking, but they are tied up.
5- After about 600m, turn right (yellow markings) in the middle of the poplar grove and cross the small bridge over the Loing.
6- You will find the road again at the Moulin de la Girardière. Take the road to the left.
7- Further on, take the tarmac path on the right with a beautiful view of the bocage.
8- At the crossroads, turn right.
9- After 200m, take the track on the left (not very well marked).
10- Follow the path down to the Moulin Garot ford. Turn right.
11- Cross the ford by the small bridge.
12- At the road, turn right and cross the Moulin Migné.
13- Turn right at the crossroads and then left at the T-junction.
14- Go straight on for 1km, then turn left towards Les Etrebières.
